Gratitude Makes Your Business Grow!
Hau’oli Lā Ho’omaika’i – Happy Thanksgiving! My U.S. Mainland friends sometimes ask if we observe American Thanksgiving here in Hawaii. Most emphatically – Yes! The feast usually involves traditional turkey and trimmings, along with heaping amounts of local dishes from Hawaii’s bounty of ethnic cuisines – Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, to name a few. And of course Hawaiian food, such as kalua pig cooked in the imu (underground pit), breadfruit with coconut milk (my fave!), big wooden bowls full of fresh poi, a vibrant array of tropical fruits! (And the desserts… well, that’s a whole other blog!) I am always so grateful for this beautiful, delicious and nourishing bounty of blessings – and the family and community connection that goes along with it!
What are you grateful for in your life? Professionally, I am grateful for being shown my work purpose early in life as a health practitioner – and for over 40 years of experience that inspired me to create and share The Prosperous Practice. And I am especially grateful for your interest and support in helping me share this work with the world of wellness professionals – so that together we can achieve our goals to provide compassionate, effective integrated health care to as many people as possible!
What are you grateful for in this season of harvest and bounty? How will you express your gratitude?
“If all you did was just look for things to appreciate, you would live a joyous, spectacular life! If there was nothing else that you ever came to understand, other than just look for things to appreciate, it’s the only tool you would ever need to understand who you really are. That’s all you need.” – Abraham/Hicks.
Happy Thanksgiving – Hau’oli Lā Ho’omaika’i !
