New Year’s Quick-Money Month – Week 3: Sell Gift Coupons – Part 2/3

Gift Coupon sales could be your biggest money-making strategy of the year! Ask every client who comes in if they have any gift-giving events coming up and suggest that they consider giving health care to their friends for special occasions.

Selling Gift Coupons has great advantages for clients.  They’re appropriate for any age, any size, any gender or any occasion; they’re easy to mail; they’re always in style; they have a long shelf-life; and they are conveniently on hand for last-minute gifts – without a shopping trip!

When a Gift Coupon recipient calls for their appointment, offer them an upgrade to a longer session for an additional fee. Because they didn’t pay for the Gift Coupon, they see it as a long session for a small fee – such a deal! For example, if their GC is for 30 minutes, offer to upgrade them to 60 minutes for $45, letting them know that your regular 60-minute fee is $75. Or upgrade a 60-minute gift coupon to a 90-minute session.

Gift Coupons add more value to your practice by bringing in new business with the potential to become loyal, long-term clients!
