The Golden Ticket to Success in Your Holistic Health Practice – Part 2/3
What Does Your Golden Ticket look Like?
There was a time when I could not have imagined much success for myself. But now, with the 20/20 clarity of hindsight, I see that many opportunities were already in place. In fact, one project that I’m currently implementing was an idea I had nearly 10 years ago. It would have brought in a lot of money back then. In fact, I actually researched it and invested in some resources to help me do it. Then what happened?
Absolutely nothing. I didn’t follow through. I let myself get distracted. I didn’t practice what I preach and I didn’t take a no-excuses approach. I had the standard lame excuses: not enough time, not enough money, fear of failure, a belief that I didn’t have what it takes. The opportunity was there but I chickened out. I didn’t use the Golden Ticket to Success – implementation! I lagged behind in achieving the income potential that this idea would have brought. I’ve been kicking myself ever since, but at least I’m finally taking action on it now. Here’s the thing: ideas that come to you are not just silly random thoughts. They are inspirations that come to you for a reason, and the reason is usually about helping others and helping yourself. One of my favorite teachers says, “If you are given an idea, then you are also given the way to make it happen. We don’t get an idea without getting the way to accomplish it too. It’s Universal Law.”
Until you are ready to see what’s already right there in front of you, your business won’t grow to its fullest potential. The great idea you had in the shower didn’t actually come from you — it was Divine Inspiration!
Don’t you constantly have great ideas? I do! It is how the Universe guides us to achieve our dreams and goals. But the question is…do you take action on them? If you’re not where you want to be in your holistic healthcare business, the problem is usually not lack of ideas but lack of action.
If you’re not at the level of success that you say you want, consider whether or not you actually seize opportunities that come up. Sometimes we dismiss them because they don’t fit our preconceived idea of what our success should look like. Success rarely comes to us ready-made in the form of instant clients or instant money. It shows up an an idea or an opportunity that we must follow through and act on to get the success. In other words, you gotta work for it! Use your Golden Ticket to Success!
